About Dr. Michelle Mazur

I've spent 15 years helping established consultants and service providers stop explaining themselves and start getting chosen.

I have a PhD in Communication, which means I've spent an embarrassing amount of time thinking about how language works — specifically, how the words you use to describe your work either travel or don't. (Turns out, most don't.)

I'm the author of 3 Word Rebellion — the methodology behind the positioning phrase that makes you the obvious choice in your market. I've worked with hundreds of experts, consultants, and service providers who came to me with good work and muddy messaging, and left with both a message and a system that runs.

Before I started Communication Rebel, I spent years in corporate — working with brands like Microsoft, Xbox, Burt's Bees, and Kerrygold. Which means I understand how buyers inside organizations make decisions. And how different that is from the influencer playbook most marketing advice is built on.
